IPSR Campus Ambassadors news: October 2008

Quality precedes incredible Success

Program 1:
Campus ambassadors from 20 different campuses gathered together in the head quarters of IPSR at Kottayam on 10.10.2008. The program started with an icebreaking session and it was followed by an induction program where vibrant ambassadors of IPSR rock with ideas and discussions.

Program 2:
IPSR conducted a three days residential program for Campus ambassadors from 20^th to 22^nd of September 2008 at Chaithanya pastoral centre Kottayam.

The first two days programs were guided by Abraham Stephen an experienced Soft skills trainer of junior chamber International. The final day was enriched with the interview preparation and techniques by P Vijayachandran domain expert on tourism Consulting Engineering services Pvt. ltd, Former CEO of Xtream Software a Canadian IT company.

Performance with a difference

On the basis of last month assignment completion the following students are selected as star performers.

Joy of achievement

The next meeting for IPSR campus ambassadors will be held on 8^th December 2008 at IPSR headquarters, Kottayam. All the ambassadors who have not yet attended any of the programmes are requested to attend the meeting.

Await the launch of IPSR Quicksite, the premium product from OSBDC on 29^th November 2008.

The global economic recession has ultimately resulted in an Open source Boom. 55 % of the current software development is in open source technologies. The projection regarding the same by 2011 is 80%. Through IPSR, more than 12 companies are now recruiting candidates for more than 100 vacancies exclusively in open source technologies.

IPSR wins the Red Hat training partner award for the 5^th consecutive time at the annual meet held at Kovalam. This time the award is for the life time achievement

This year ipsr is crowned twice by Red Hat. The global acceptance of the performance of ipsr's learning services is recognized with Asia - pacific International Award and National Award for life time achievement.

Successfully conducted 78 RHCE exams in October(highest in the SAARC region). Now for the last month 1 out of 4 RHCEs in the SAARC region is from IPSR (average number of RHCE exams in SAARC region per month as per Red Hat statistics is 287)
100% Placement even for Non IT.. Students
